Michael L. DiBiasie, Ph.D., is a licensed clinical psychologist, who has been in clinical practice for thirty years. He is fully licensed and credentialed for practice in the Commonwealth of Kentucky. Dr. DiBiasie has also received national certification as an Addictions Treatment Specialist, Level II. Primary areas of treatment are mood and anxiety disorders, working with individual, couples, and families. In August 2012, Dr. DiBiasie retired from Federal service wherein he worked for 21 years for the United states Department of Justice, Bureau of Prisons. While working for the government, Dr. DiBiasie served as a Special Management Psychologist, and was the team leader for a specialized crisis emergency response team. Dr. DiBiasie was also chiefly responsible for the management and operation of the institution suicide prevention programs.

Dr. DiBiasie received his bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the College of the Holy Cross and his masters and doctorate from the Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C. Dr. DiBiasie completed his internship training in addictions and clinical services working with adults at GUIDE Psychological Services, Washington, D.C. Following his internship Dr. DiBiasie accepted a position with GUIDE Psychological Services as a Projects Director, managing adult addictions programs and serving as a clinician for adolescents, both residential and non-residential.

Dr. DiBiasie is an active member of the Kentucky Psychological Association, the American Psychological Association, the American Academy of Healthcare Providers in the Addictive Disorders, NAADAC, the Kentucky Association of Addiction Professionals, and is a registrant on the National Register of Health Service Providers in Psychology.

Dr. DiBiasie has been married to Dr. Helena Barsam for 30 plus years and is the father of three children.
